Registration & Submission

  1. Submit your registration using the application form here 
    Registration is opened for all    i) Category A : Undergraduate students i.e. University or Politeknik ( Fees RM 250/group )                                                                 ii) Category B : Local and International Primary and Secondary School ( Fees RM 150/group )  

  2. The fees to be paid to this account number

  3. Poster's templates provided at the website (can be downloaded after 3 August 2016)

  4. The competition is only open to projects that have never been exhibited or participated in any IID competition before. (Previous projects with major improvements may be considered. The selection committee reserves the right to accept or reject any application which does not satisfy certain requirements.)

  5. Lecturers/Teachers are most welcome to encourage students to enter the competition.

  6. Registration dateline is on 25 August 2016.

  7. RM100 penalty will be given if participants cancel their participation on the event day.

  8. The project must have a product prototype and have commercialibility values.

  9. Each group will be provided with one table for product display. 

  10. The organizers have the right to reject any application it seems unsuitablee for the competition.

  11. Registration will be closed once the estimated 70 booths for participation are filled.

  2. The fees to be paid to:

    2. Cash to Bendahari TIEC, Pn. Yusrina Yusof, Level 6, FKE. 

  3. Lecturers/Teachers are most welcome to encourage students to enter the competition.

  4. Registration dateline is on 26 November 2018.

  5. RM100 penalty will be given if participants cancel their participation on the event day.

  6. The project must have a product prototype and have commercialization values.

  7. Poster's are compulsory with A2 size. Templates are your freedom.

  8. Two groups will share one 4 x 6 inch table for product display. 

  9. The organizers have the right to reject any application it seems unsuitable for the competition.

  10. Registration will be closed once the estimated 80 booths for participation are filled. Limit for 80 ONLY!

The organizing of the Tinker Innovation Entreprenuership Challenge (TIEC) was first mooted by the student's club -Makers Club in collaboration with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Industry, Community & Alumni Network (ICAN) UiTM Johor in an effort to promote innovations in all faculties as feeders for participation at the university level IID and IIDEX (Invention, Innovation and Design Exposition).  The first and second TIEC was held in PTDI, UiTM Kampus pasir Gudang in the year 2015 at the UiTM Pasir Gudang level focusing on Diploma Final Year Projects. Beginning 2016, the TIEC organizing committee with great confidence and anticipation, organized TIEC for the first time at the state level. The strive for excellence has led TIEC this year to open to other Diploma students from different institution but focusing in Johor area. The category is also added to school categories. Now we are hosting the 4th T.I.E.C. 2018 at UiTM Pasir Gudang, we hope to see all of you there?
